BREAKFAST
Hello my lovely,
Would you believe that I have been having the same breakfast every day for years already? Of course, I am not counting when I am outside of our house on holidays and somebody else is actually preparing this starter meal for me...
I was thinking, how is this possible? Why have I not changed my eating habits through the years? I surely need to admit that I do tweak here and there when my mood or season changes. In summer I tend to have more sorts of fruit to choose from for obvious reasons and in winter I would reach out more for frozen fruit to not get bored. Sometimes, I will be experimenting with different yoghurts but I will never reach for ones with jam or fruit already in it. Coconut and cinnamon are my favorite ingredients.
So here we go, maybe you will find this interesting;
I usually eat my breakfast around 10:00 AM and this is normally sufficient next 2 hours. However, sometimes I also eat earlier. I'm not trying to punish or starve my body, that's for sure.
In my early years, I thought that I should not eat often in order to stay lean and thin. Now, that I am getting older and hopefully wiser I am listening to my body more...so sometimes I will be hungry 2 or 3 hours after my breakfast, but sometimes after 1 hour I am ready for another meal.
The only thing what I am trying to implement is: first meal at 10:00 AM and last meal no later than 06:00 PM - but also here there are exceptions like PMS, family - friends visits and dining out.
This is my body and I want to treat it with love, respect and dignity.
PS: My biggest issue is sugar...but that's story for another time...
Please remember that I am not a nutritionist or any diet specialist - I just want to share with you what I am feeding my body every morning.
